THIS VIDEO WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO INSTALL SHOUTCAST ON AZURACAST AS AZURA COMES WITH ICE
If you are have an administrator privilege in managing Azuracast streaming server. You can create multiple radio stations by following these 3 steps. 1. First, create a Radio Station. - You can add your Station name, station description and optionally, if you have a website, you can add it here also. * Take note that all texts can be edited in your dashboard after the Azuracast radio station has been created already. - Next is to choose the broadcasting server, either use IceCast or ShoutCast. Additionally, you can also choose to connect to a remote server. - After, that set your max listeners (250 is the default number). Decide whether to enable autodj or not (liquid soap). You may want to enable song request feature by AzuraCast. - Leave the rest as default. 2. Next, add a Permission category. - If you notice, there is already a default user permission, which is the super administrator. (that is you). Leave it as it. Instead create a user permission specifically for the station you created. So to avoid confusion, just name it with the same name of you radio station. That is if you are planning to create multiple radio stations with one user per station. - Next is to grant that user permission to the station you just created. In that way, this user permission can do anything specific only to that station you just created. 3. Lastly, create a user. - If you notice the page. There are 2 users already made. The first one is the default one, that's me - the one who created the server. The next user will be the owner of the server, the Reseller. Leave mine alone as it will be use for debugging purposes, while you can reset the password of your user directly if needed. - In here, create a user specific for that radio station you just created. - Tick the name of the user permission you created earlier. - Once this is done, the newly created user can now manage the recently created radio station… Just repeat the process, if you intent to create more stations...
