How to use live broadcasting software with Media CP.

Here are the general steps to use live broadcasting software with Media CP:

Install and configure live broadcasting software such as Butt or Mixxx on your computer.

In the Media CP control panel, navigate to the "Live" section and click on "New Encoder".

Enter a name for your encoder and select the type of encoder (Icecast or Shoutcast).

In the "Encoder Settings" section, enter the server IP, port, username, and password for your Media CP radio server. You can find this information in the Media CP control panel under "Server Details".

Configure the audio settings for your encoder, such as bitrate, sample rate, and channels. These settings should match the settings in your live broadcasting software.

Save your encoder settings and start your live broadcast in your broadcasting software.

In the Media CP control panel, navigate to the "Live" section and click on "Live Streams". You should see your live stream listed with its current status.

To schedule your live broadcast, click on "Schedule New Event" and select your live stream as the event source. Enter the event details, start time, and duration, and save your schedule.

Your live broadcast should now be scheduled and ready to go at the specified start time. If you encounter any issues, refer to your live broadcasting software's documentation or troubleshoot with the Media CP support team
