This page is written in plain English for website visitors and customers. It should be reviewed by a qualified legal adviser before you rely on it as formal legal advice.
This Acceptable Use Policy protects customers, visitors, networks and third parties. It applies to all Online Audience hosting, streaming, VPS, dedicated server, website, email, client-area and related services.
You must not use Online Audience services for unlawful, harmful, abusive or high-risk activity. This includes activity that damages systems, violates rights, disrupts networks or exposes others to illegal or seriously harmful material.
Email services must be used responsibly. You must not send spam, purchased-list campaigns, deceptive messages, malware, phishing content or high-volume mail that harms the service reputation. Mailing lists must use consent-based subscriptions and clear unsubscribe routes.
Streaming customers must only broadcast content they are allowed to use. You are responsible for music licensing, copyright permissions, presenter behaviour, adverts, uploaded tracks, live shows and any public content delivered through your station or app.
You must keep scripts, CMS software, plugins, passwords and user accounts secure. If a site, stream, server or account is compromised, we may suspend, isolate or restrict the service while the issue is fixed.
You must not use shared services in a way that degrades performance for others. This includes excessive CPU, memory, disk I/O, inodes, email volume, backup storage, crawler traffic, streaming relays or bandwidth usage beyond the intended plan. The Fair Use Policy explains this in more detail.
We may investigate suspected abuse and take action including warnings, content removal requests, rate limits, suspension, termination, data preservation, reporting to authorities or refusing future service. Urgent risks may be acted on without prior notice.
To report abuse, email info@onlineaudience.co.uk or use the contact page. Include the domain, IP address, URL, stream link, message headers, screenshots, timestamps and a short explanation of the issue where available.
Contact Online Audience before ordering if you need clarification about how this policy applies to your account, service or project.
