Online Audience: Unlimited Fair Use Policy

At Online Audience, we provide unlimited disk space, bandwidth, and data transfer on the majority of our shared and reseller web hosting plans. This means you can use the resources necessary for your website without an upward limit, provided you adhere to our Terms of Service. Our goal is to support the typical growth of small, independently owned websites, not to provide enterprise-level solutions.

1. What Is Acceptable Usage?

  • Shared Environment: Our web hosting is a shared service, meaning many websites exist on the same server. To ensure the performance and reliability of our service for everyone, your usage cannot negatively impact other customers' websites.

  • Monitoring: We monitor our servers 24/7. If your account’s resource usage adversely affects the server’s performance, we will take immediate preventive measures to protect the entire community.

  • Purpose of Service: Our service is for hosting websites, not for data backup or long-term storage. Using your account as a primary archive for electronic files, images, or log files is strictly prohibited and may lead to account termination without notice.

2. Understanding "Unlimited"

  • Unlimited Disk Space: You can create a website with as many pages as you like without being penalized. However, rapid and excessive growth can strain server resources and negatively impact others. We may place constraints on how fast your website can grow to ensure fair performance for all users.

  • Unlimited Bandwidth & Data Transfer: We do not set limits on visitor traffic or the amount of content you can upload. There are no additional fees for increased bandwidth usage, as long as you comply with our Terms of Service. This policy applies unless your usage of server processing power negatively impacts the performance of the server for the entire community.

  • Excessive File Usage: While we offer unlimited hosting space, this does not extend to unlimited storage for backups or archives. Accounts with an extraordinarily large number of files, including excessive MySQL/PostgreSQL tables or a large database size, can negatively affect server performance. We may ask you to reduce the number of files or database usage, or we may terminate your account, to ensure the proper performance of our servers for all customers.

  • Unlimited Domain Hosting: Most of our shared and reseller plans do not limit the number of domains you can associate with your account.
